1.2 For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the Platform serves as a comprehensive AI-powered social media management solution that enables users to generate AI comments, create posts, analyze content viral potential, schedule social media content, manage brand voice, create AI personalities, track analytics, and engage across multiple social media platforms including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, Product Hunt, YouTube, Threads, Quora, HackerNews, Medium, and Skool (hereinafter, "Service").

1.3 The policy is applicable to users who browse the Platform, use the Services and/or create an account on the Platform including individuals, businesses, agencies, influencers, content creators, and other stakeholders ("you", "your", "Users").

1.4 This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy"), together with the Terms of Service governs your use of the Platform and describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, processing, protection, transfer, and storage of your Information (defined hereinafter) provided to us by you. 4.1 We do not share customer data with anyone else, including our own team members and development team. Only relevant information about issue tickets is shared when necessary for support purposes.

4.2 All user data is stored securely on servers located in the United States. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

4.3 We do not use your content, conversations, generated comments, posts, summaries, or interaction data for training our AI models. Your content is used solely for providing Platform services.

4.4 When you use third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Straico, OpenRouter), your content may be processed by those providers according to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party data processing practices.

4.7 Payment processing is handled by LemonSqueezy (which uses Stripe in the background). Payment information is handled by these providers and not stored on our servers.

5.1 We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your Information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication protocols, and regular security audits.

5.2 API keys provided by users for third-party services (BYOK - Bring Your Own Key) are stored locally in your browser extension. We have no access to your BYOK credentials or data processed through them.

5.3 For social media authentication, auto-commenting works through our Chrome extension on top of your existing social media logins without accessing your accounts. Posting features require official API authentication flows. We never store social media passwords or have access beyond explicitly granted API permissions.

5.4 Despite our security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your Information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5.5 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for restricting access to your computer/mobile devices. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

7.4 You may withdraw your consent for data processing at any time by contacting us at support@explainx.ai. However, withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use certain features of the Platform.

8.1 We retain your Information for as long as necessary to provide Services and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

8.2 You can delete your data and account directly by visiting app.olly.social/dashboard. For account deletion requests, please send an email to support@explainx.ai.

8.3 Upon account deletion, all of your data may be permanently deleted from our servers. We are not obligated to retain your data after deletion. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain before deleting your account.

8.4 Certain information may be retained for longer periods as required by law, including transaction records, payment information, and compliance-related data.

8.5 Data stored locally in your browser extension (including BYOK API keys and extension settings) will remain on your device until you clear your browser data or uninstall the extension.

9.1 Chrome Extension Data: Our Chrome extension (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/olly-ai-agent-for-social/ofjpapfmglfjdhmadpegoeifocomaeje) collects website data, social media profile information, and post content to provide AI comment generation, auto-commenter functionality, and content analysis. The extension operates within browser security constraints and only accesses information necessary for platform functionality.

9.2 Mobile Application Data: Our mobile applications (current and future) for creators and brands collect device information, usage analytics, and platform preferences. Mobile app data is synchronized with your web platform account to provide seamless cross-platform functionality.

9.3 Extension Permissions: When you install our Chrome extension, you grant necessary permissions for functionality including access to active tabs (for content analysis and comment generation), website data (for social media platform interaction), and browser storage (for local settings). These permissions are used solely for providing our Services and are not used for any other purpose.

9.4 Cross-Platform Synchronization: Data entered through web platform, Chrome extension, or mobile applications is synchronized across all access points. This ensures consistency in your account information, brand voice settings, AI personalities, scheduled posts, and platform preferences across all devices and interfaces.

9.5 App Store Compliance: Our mobile applications comply with Apple App Store and Google Play Store privacy policies. App functionality may be subject to platform-specific restrictions, and data handling follows respective app store guidelines in addition to this Privacy Policy.

9.6 BYOK Storage: When you use Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) functionality, your API keys are stored locally in your browser extension and never transmitted to our servers. We have no access to your BYOK credentials or the data processed through them.

10.4 We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any third-party services, content, products, or services. If you access any third-party service through the Platform, you do so at your own risk.
